Scarce 1931 first English-language edition. Innoue (here "Innouye") was a prominent banker who served terms as both the head of the Bank of Japan and the Minister of Finance. He was one of the two assassination victims of the League of Blood, led by Nisshō Inoue, in 1932. 


With the additional distinction of being From the personal library of Henry Rosovsky, with his ownership inscription. Economist, dean and two-time acting president at Harvard, Henry Rosovsky first rose to prominence as an expert on the Japanese economy. More recently he appeared in the Epstein files, most notably alongside Trump in the infamous "Birthday Book." Jeffrey Epstein claimed in an email that he and Rosovsky were "best friends."
