1981 Parker 45 Harlequin 80 Grey Circlet Fountain Pen, CT, Med Nib, Box *MINT*
The Harlequin was introduced in 1980 but only produced until 1983 as production of the intricate design proved too complicated.
Very Collectible Parker 45 Harlequin 80 fountain pen in the rarer Grey Circlet finish in mint condition with a perfect medium steel nib, working filler and box!
Condition report:
Mint external cosmetic condition. Brushed steel Flighter barrel and cap in the Grey Circlet design with chrome clip and trim. Cap is stamped "Parker Made in England". Date mark is UI for Q4 of 1981. All chrome trim is in perfect condition. The nib is a medium steel and looks to be in perfect condition. Dip tested and writes nicely (see photo of writing sample). The pen can use cartridges or the ink converter filler which is fitted and working when water tested. Parker box is in perfect condition but the elastics to hold the pen in place are a little loose.
