Antique hand forged T-handle auger / wood boring tool with original wooden cross handle and decorative spiral bit.

This primitive woodworking tool measures approximately 15 inches long overall with a 15 inch wooden T-handle. The forged iron shaft has a beautiful aged patina and classic early hand-forged appearance. Great piece for collectors of antique tools, farmhouse décor, primitive country displays, or barn finds. The engraving on the bit appears to be JTB WHITE   Warranted No. 4
