- Each kits components will vary depending on the exact year, model, HP level, Tire Size, Elevation and any other modifications you may have done.

- Typical need for a clutch kit is adding larger tires. Larger tires are effectively like changing your gear ratio. Larger tires put significant more load on the entire drive system and if clutches are left in stock form acceleration is lost and wear is accelerated to the belt and clutches. This can be compensated for with proper clutch calibration. Restoring performance and improving belt and clutch wear.

MCB can custom build you a clutch kit that will perform better and significantly improve the longevity of your clutches and belt by reducing the load applied to the clutches and belt via proper clutch calibration after after such modifications as Tire Size and or added HP via tuning or bolt on parts.

- Each kit is custom. For example, if you are in Montana at 8500 feet elevation with a Defender HD10 and you've added 34" tires, and 300lbs of accessories and your main use is plowing snow in the winter and towing in the summer. You have added significant load just via the Tire Size, then in addition you are now 300 lbs heavier and plowing snow and or towing all while in thin air making slightly less HP then at Sea Level. This is an extreme load put on the clutches and belt that were originally set up for 0-4500 feet elevation and general purpose trail use. We can calibrate the clutch with a proper helix angle, spring rates (primary and secondary in some cases, not all) plus weight combination to make the motor, clutches and belt see significantly less load, and significantly improve longevity of the above mentioned components.

- Added HP via a tuner (how much over stock, or total known HP)

- Elevation 0-4500 or 4500 and above

- Riding Style (all low speed torque for mud or rock crawling, midrange trail, high speed roads, plowing, towing etc.)

- All above mentioned factors are critical to know for receiving a proper kit!!
