Per Arnoldi Signed Numbered Limited Edition Abstract Art Lithograph 3


Per Arnoldi is a Danish designer and artist. He has worked with many media, including painting, sculptures, ceramics and posters and has made designs for many companies and institutions. His characteristic simplistic expressions are often categorized as modern art. Arnoldi has worked in many countries around the world and is on permanent exhibit in several prestigious art and design institutions for his unique and influential productions, including Museum of Modern Art in New York.

Apart from his prolific poster art production, some of Arnoldi's best known single works are the logo and curtains designs of the Copenhagen Opera House from 2004 and London's National Police Memorial, co-designed with Peter Ridley from Foster + Partners.

Good condition—there is a smudge on the lower right (photo5) and a faint line along the upper edge (photos 6,7) that may not show if matted and framed. “Fabriano 5 “ and “50% Cotton” is imprinted on paper and can be seen if held against light (photos 8,9). Measures about 19.5”L x 27.25”W, image measures about 13.5”L x 22”W.


** The Fabriano 5 paper is mould made of a valuable mixture of cotton (50%) and accurately sected raw material. The absence of acid guarantees the inalterability over time of the paper. Ideal for watercolour, tempera, gouache, acrylic, ink, charcoal, wax, graphite, felt-tipped pens, drawing and printmaking (etching, lithography and silk-screening), announcements and invitations. The watermark (only on sheets) reproduces the Fabriano logo and the inscription "50% COTTON".
