There are two different adapters sold in this offer, the yellow 45-1 made by Artistic Audio, and the red Dome-2 (cone shaped). 
The Artistic Audio 45-1 Adaptor is yellow (see picture), perhaps a bit lighter in color than the 45 adapters I remember growing up as a child, but it is both strong and flexible. Flexibility is extremely important in this case, because there needs to be a little spring or give to the plastic as it snaps into place. This adapter stays on your 45, and you need multiples (one for each 45 you are playing, most changers accommodate 5-6 records, I guess the average person has 5 or 6 of these adapters). If your adapter is too ridged, the adapter either will not hold in place, or it can not be removed easily, and that, my friends, can damage the “hole” in the middle of the record.
The EVG Dome-2 is red (see picture), and cone shaped, it stays on the turntable and allows for you to change 45s while it sits there.

If you have a linear-tracking turntable and the stylus seems stuck (or it goes so far, then is stuck), don't throw it away! There is a fairly easy fix and it is not expensive.
