This guitar is in rough shape and needs some serious tlc. The strings are rusted and broken, the original celluloid binding is cracked or missing, the tuners are and tailpiece are rusty, and I see a couple cracks on the top. That being said, everything is original as far as I can tell. The tailpiece is the original harp style trapeze with Gretsch written on it, and the bridge appears to be the original rosewood. The pick guard appears to be the original celluloid. It is marked and stamped 7724 on the inside, and the tone ball is still intact! I only tightened the strings a little to hear how it sounds, and it has a shockingly warm tone.

Overall a super cool piece, definitely worth working on to get it playable!
