Canon Canolite D, a dedicated flash for the Canonet 28, QL17 GIII, and QL19 GIII, in Excellent condition (clean, no signs of battery leak).

The flash was tested on a Canonet QL17 GIII. It functions properly in both auto and manual modes. Some of these flashes don’t work in auto due to faulty electronics. In some cases, the issue is on the camera side—a dirty or damaged resistor can affect performance. Normally, after mounting and charging the flash, the light meter needle should move as you adjust focus. If it jumps or doesn’t move, the resistor in your camera likely needs cleaning or replacement. If the flash doesn’t work in A mode on your camera, let me know—I can guide you on how to check and clean the resistor in your camera in just a few minutes, without major disassembly.
