1950s Vintage Captain Video Rocket Launcher Boxed Complete Lido Toy

Acquired when I was 10-12 years of age. Never played with at the time but stored away until now. The box, its plastic window, and all contents are as NEW, complete and in the same condition that I purchased the box 70 years ago.  The first time the box was opened was to photograph the contents for this advertisement. Everything is as new except for several of the rubber bands holding the toys to the backing board have dried out.

When I purchased the Captain Video Rocket Launcher, I picked this model from a number of stacked boxes at my local five and dime store. The boxes were stacked one on top of the other with the flaps down. The Captain Video Lido Toy box was a point of purchase kinetic masterpiece. When the flap of the box was lifted the rocket appeared in full color lifting off the launch pad. This visual effect triggered the imagination of a preteen or teen who grew up watching Captain Video, Tom Corbett Space Cadet and Space Patrol on their small b x w televison in the 1950s.

This is a very rare find Complete and in New Condition.
