An excellent and rare example of a vintage Aero, albeit in need of servicing, see below. This timepiece features a superb plain dial (appears to be silvered, but without sunburst brushing), which is very well preserved, unusual for its time and more like what you might find on an earlier or later watch, baton hour and minute hands and fine black center seconds hand, two tone short baton indices, applied numerals at teh 12, 3, 6 and 9 positions, dotted lume, minute dashes and maker's name printed in black together with the incabloc (anti-shock) branding and T Swiss T for the lume. Overall, the legibility of this watch is very good. The case is stainless steel, with fine lugs typical of 1960s watches, and screw-on caseback. The movement is manual wind only. The watch head is about 32.7 mm and only 9.9 mm thick. The movement (AS1950) came out in 1965, and the watch appears, from its styling to be from the mid to late 1960s although early 1970s is also possible. There is a new butterfly clasp leather strap on the watch, albeit with mis-matched colours.

I wound the watch, and found that the mainspring seemed to slip (can hear a click) at about half way being wound up. That indicates the mainspring or barrel will probably need to be replaced or re-fitted, this should be a simple operation for a watch maker. The watch runs for about 8 to 12 hours, keeping good time, but should run longer (46 hour power reserve in theory). This very collectable watch is in otherwise unusually pristine condition and would be well worth getting back in to full working order.
