The San Juan Mission opened in 1772.  In 1905, the town added "Bautista" to it's name.
The product is a brass token from the Old Mission Saloon in San Juan Bautista, California. It is good for a 5 cent drink and was manufactured in the United States. This circulated token is a piece of history from the San Benito County area and is a unique collectible for token and exonumia enthusiasts.
This has been in my family for 80 years, at least!
