Unit was tested with a AA battery but does not power on. No lights, no display response. Due to this, it is being sold strictly for parts or repair.

Battery compartment shows visible corrosion and residue, which is the most likely cause of the issue. Interior and contacts will need cleaning and possibly further repair.

Cosmetically, the unit shows moderate wear from use:

* Scratches and scuffs on the front and chrome edges

* General discoloration and grime on the back housing

* “CPC Refurbished” label present (unknown prior repair history)

The disc lid opens but sits slightly uneven when closed.

No further testing has been performed.
