Rare antique porcelain dish, intended to hold discarded lobster/shellfish shells on the dining table. Produced by Victoria Carlsbad Austria, this piece was most likely produced between the years 1891 -1918, as indicated by the blue makers mark (this particular mark was only used during that 27 year period of the company’s 137 year history). The dish measures approximately 9.75 by 10 inches and 2.75 inches tall. There are no chips, cracks or crazing.
