'Buck a Disc' listing. up for auction today is a 1987 issued CD of the 1966 album by the Classic Rock group The Beatles titled 'Revolver'. the Beatles were probably the ultimate Classic Rock band - starting out as a strictly pop 

band, and grew into a number of new influences. Roots, Metal, Avant-Garde, LSD and Soul became more

prominent, for a period became Psychedelic Rockers. a key part of the 1960s Baby Boomer generation, their

catalog has been the subject of much remixing & reissuing. don't ask me about mixing differences - I'm too old to 

get into such details, I just want to enjoy the music! this is one of the discs from the 1987 'first CD issue' campaign 

- it features a remaster of the album from the master tapes, done by George martin. it's their lucky 7th album, with

all of the songwriters exploring new avenues lyrically & musically, with a very wild psychedelic tune ending each side. one of their best, this repays repeated listenings. one of the many highlights from their catalog IMO. a great buy for the Classic Rock fan IMO. Parlophone/Apple CDP 7 46441 2 w/8pp booklet. Allmusic.com rates this at 5 stars of 5.
