one of the very first games ever released by Mastertronic when they launched
their legendary 199 Range in April 1984. A fascinating piece of budget software
history, from the label that went on to become one of the biggest budget
publishers in the UK.
THE GAME:
Guide your worm through a maze to collect 255 eggs laid by the Queen Squirm,
whilst dodging the enemy guards that patrol the maze. Collect all the eggs to
reach the next level. Between each level, enjoy a bonus run where you can
attack enemy Squirms for extra points — but don't cross your own path!
SCORING:
Dots (eggs) = 10 pts each
1 Squirm segment = 100 pts
Squirm head = 200 pts
Complete Squirm = 600 pts
Controls: keyboard or joystick (port 1)
