UNITED STATES SERIES 1985
ONE DOLLAR FEDERAL RESERVE
REPLACEMENT "STAR" NOTE

SIGNATURES OF ORTEGA AND BAKER

FRIEDBERG NUMBER 1913-H* (ST. LOUIS)

This rare replacement "STAR" note is well circulated with multiple old creases, wrinkles, dogears and folds.  It has general soiling throughout with heavier smudging on the reverse, but no major stains or spots.  It still retains decent body with a firm feel.  The eye appeal is average for it's vintage.  There are no tears, pinholes or missing pieces.   This U.S. one dollar bill is special because of the St. Louis "STAR" notes extremely low quantity printed.  It makes this limited note more scarce and desirable by certain collectors.  It carries a much higher premium in uncirculated condition.  This one is not perfect, but at this price perhaps you could add it to your collection until the ideal one comes along.    We are not professionals or experts and grading is subjective so study the photographs of the actual bill and you be the judge.  Please email with any questions prior to bidding.  Thanks for looking.
