This BEAUTIFUL vintage teapot was made in England by Royal Winton Grimwades. It is in the “Old Cottage” chintz pattern, which features bright pink, yellow, and blue florals, strung along throughout a subtle gray with white dots background pattern. This is a RARE Style/Shape teapot for this pattern. It is hand numbered in gold on the bottom and also has a makers mark in gold. I believe it is from the 1940s
It is in very good condition. There are no chips, cracks or discoloration. The gold trim is in good condition. There is some crazing, but it is not very visible because of the gray background pattern. This still makes a lovely display piece. (Enlarge the pictures as they are a part of the description.)
It is 8” tall, 8.5” wide from tip of spout to outside edge of handle, and 4.25” deep.
