This auction is for a Marconi 2390 which is part of the IFR/ Aeroflex series if spectrum analyzers which ended with the AN1800 Series ...basically same series with an LCD instead of a CRT display.
This unit goes up to 22Ghz and includes a tracking generator and a number of other options physically installed.
The unit powers on and boots and has all of the original modules except for the controller board which was replaced with the later IFR version but the configuration EEPROM was not swapped when replaced so the unit does not calibrate or pass a number of tests due to this mismatch.
When swapping controllers the software flash drive and configuration EEPROM need to be moved and it looks like this just had the software only moved if that.
The unit is being sold for parts since I do not have the ability to recover the configuration information.
It looks like everything is there and would be an excellent source of parts for supporting this product line.
Also included is the Aeroflex factory Service Manual which is almost new and complete.
As with most later Aeroflex Service manuals this does not have complete schematics but does have detailed information on alignment and testing along with detailed block diagrams which are often more useful,
