This piece was handmade, likely Kashmir Afghan region, vintage tribal-jewelry. It is a traditional tribal wedding necklace.

It is sturdily made, and metal does not bend.

- 1 long Kashmiri necklace with gorgeous old pendants, beads and metal cone-ends. The 5 shield like pendants were incised with traditional designs and studded with colorful turquoise colored beads. The five shield like pendants have heart shaped charm dangles which hang freely below. A few of the dangles have wear-patterns and one of the shields has a missing set of dangles. The 22 1/2-inch wool red fabric cording is more recent, and highly wound and sturdy.
Great for festivals, belly dance, theater costumes, stage productions, and making a dramatic statement.
