A pair of antique wooden box rice measures include one that is has the original finish and one that has been refinished.

I'm not an expert, but from my online research, they appear to be original pieces from China, dating back to the early1900s.

Overall, the structures are in good shape and the refinished one allows for the metal and wood details to pop. The original finish one is darker and looks much older, though you can't see the details as well against the darker finish. It also has numerous wear marks and scratches from use.
