Antique "Poster Picture Action Words" for the first grade, from the Harter School Supply Company, Cleveland, Ohio, 1925. The silhouette pictures of action words by Miss Florence Sampson were used to help teach silent reading. Each heavy poster board silhouette measures approx. 9" by 12", and are double sided. There are 10 cards, 2 of the cards are missing. The original large envelope holds the 10 cards.  The words included are skip, hop, wave, gallop, bow, give, run, feed, jump, sit, dance, come, play, build, clap, eat, walk, whisper, fly and rock.
