A core charge may apply to rebuildable parts such as engines, transmissions, and similar components. This charge is 100% refundable once we receive your old core. If there is a core charge, it will be billed separately and will be noted in the seller item description.

The core must be complete and in good physical condition, with no missing internal or external parts, and no damage or broken components. For transmissions, the torque converter must be included.Please contact us when your core is ready so we can arrange free pickup.

Warranty & Returns

Woodys Auto Parts warrants to the buyer that each used part sold is free from defects in materials when properly installed by a professional mechanic and used under normal operating conditions. The warranty period is limited to the time and mileage specified in the seller's item description.

All used parts are in very good condition, showing only light signs of normal exterior wear such as minor dirt, debris, or faint surface scratches from regular use that may not be visible in the photos. Every part is fully tested,except in specifically noted circumstances and most are securely stored in our indoor warehouse. Used Engine Warranty Policy

1. Warranty Coverage

This warranty applies to the used engine purchased from the Seller. It covers the engine long block,including the engine block, cylinder heads, and internal lubricated components,against mechanical failure caused by defects in materials or workmanship.

2. Warranty Period

The warranty period is whichever occurs first of

• 6 Months from the date of purchase, or
• 6,000 miles,

unless otherwise specified in the seller's item conditions.

3. What Is Covered

This warranty covers:

• Engine block and cylinder heads
• Internal lubricated components (pistons, crankshaft, camshaft, valves, etc.)
• Mechanical failure caused by internal defects present at the time of sale

If a covered failure occurs, the Seller may, at their discretion:

• Provide a comparable used replacement engine within 30 days.
• If a replacement is not available within 30 days, refund the purchase price of the engine (excluding labor and shipping).

4. What Is NOT Covered

This warranty does not cover:

• Labor for installation or removal
• Gaskets, seals, belts, hoses, sensors, or external accessories
• Damage caused by overheating, improper installation, or lack of lubrication
• Engines used for racing, commercial abuse, or towing beyond rated capacity
• Any incidental or consequential damages (towing, rental, downtime, etc.)

5. Oil Requirements

To maintain warranty coverage, the buyer must:

• Use manufacturer‑recommended oil type and viscosity
• Perform the first oil change within the first 1,000 miles
• Maintain proper oil levels at all times
• Failure to use manufacturer‑recommended fluid voids the warranty.

6. Installation Requirements

The engine must be installed by a qualified mechanic. The following must be replaced at installation:

• New water pump
• New timing belt
• New oil and oil filter
• New coolant
• New spark plugs
• Any worn or damaged external components

The engine must not be started without proper lubrication and cooling systems in place.

7. Proof of Failure

To file a warranty claim, the buyer must provide:

• Receipts for all service parts used during installation, including oil, oil filter, coolant, spark plugs, water pump, timing belt, and any other components replaced.
• A diagnostic report from a certified mechanic
• Photos or videos of the failure, if requested
• Mileage proof, if submitting a mileage‑related claim

The Seller reserves the right to inspect the engine before approving any claim.

8. Warranty Void Conditions

Warranty is void if:

• Engine is disassembled without Seller authorization
• Wrong oil type or viscosity is used
• Engine is modified, tuned, or abused
• Vehicle is involved in an accident
• Engine is run without proper oil or coolant

9. Limitation of Liability

The Seller's liability is limited strictly to replacement of the engine or refund of the purchase price within 30 days . No other warranties, express or implied, apply beyond what is stated here.

10. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing and installing the engine, the buyer agrees to all terms of this warranty policy.

Used Transmission Warranty Policy

1. Warranty Coverage

This warranty applies to the used transmission purchased from the Seller. It covers the transmission case and all internal lubricated components against mechanical failure caused by defects in materials or workmanship.

2. Warranty Period

The warranty period whichever occurs first is:

• 90 days from the date of purchase, or
• 3,000 miles,

unless otherwise specified in the seller's item conditions.

3. What Is Covered

This warranty covers:

• Transmission case
• Internal lubricated components (gears, clutches, drums, valve body, pump, etc.)
• Mechanical failure caused by internal defects present at the time of sale

If a covered failure occurs, the Seller may, at their discretion:

• Provide a comparable used replacement Transmission within 30 days.
• If a replacement is not available within 30 days, refund the purchase price of the Transmission (excluding labor and shipping)

4. What Is NOT Covered

This warranty does not cover:

• Labor for installation or removal
• External parts such as sensors, solenoids, mounts, wiring, coolers, or lines
• Damage caused by improper installation, overheating, or lack of proper fluid
• Failure due to contaminated, incorrect, or low transmission fluid
• Transmission used for racing, commercial abuse, or towing beyond rated capacity
• Any incidental or consequential damages (towing, rental, downtime, etc.)

5. Fluid Requirements

To maintain warranty coverage, the buyer must:

• Use manufacturer‑recommended transmission fluid type
• Flush or replace the transmission cooler and lines before installation
• Maintain proper fluid levels at all times

Failure to use manufacturer‑recommended fluid voids the warranty.

6. Installation Requirements

The transmission must be installed by a qualified mechanic. The following must be completed at installation:

• Install new transmission fluid and filter
• Flush or replace transmission cooler and lines
• Replace any worn or damaged external components
• Ensure proper programming or relearning procedures (if required by vehicle manufacturer)

The transmission must not be operated without proper fluid levels and cooling.

7. Proof of Failure

To file a warranty claim, the buyer must provide:

• Original purchase receipt
• Diagnostic report from a certified mechanic
• Reports for any programming or relearning procedures if required by the vehicle manufacturer
• Photos or videos of the failure if requested
• Mileage proof, if submitting a mileage‑related claim
• Receipts for all service parts used during installation, including transmission fluid, filter, cooler flush, and any other components replaced

The Seller reserves the right to inspect the transmission before approving any claim.

8. Warranty Void Conditions
