Northamptonshire CCC County
Championship cricket shirt for late 1990s / early 2000s. This is a genuine
vintage shirt from that era - not a remake. Size Large - pit-to-pit measurement
is 24&1/2 inches / 62 centimeters & rear collar to hemline measures 31
inches / 78&1/2 centimeters. This shirt has long sleeves. Garment is
manufactured by North Gear Sport and it is made from “100% QUICKDRY” which
looks and feels like a type of nylon. Color is “off-white/cream” with a maroon collar
and side/underarm panels. The Northants CCC badge (left chest) and manufacturer’s
name/logo (right chest & rear neckline) are beautifully embroidered. Sponsor
names on the front and back of the main body are stuck on to the
fabric but they are almost perfect. There is maroon and cream piping on the
shoulders, sleeves and underarms which looks really natty. Front closure
(maroon & white) is buttoned up to the collar which is maroon. NORTH GEAR
SPORT beading is stitched around the inside of the neckline and along the rear
hemline which adds a real quality touch to the shirt. Country of origin is not
known. Please note that this shirt has
been autographed in marker pen (back & front) by a Northants cricketer but
we are not sure who!!
