Up for sale is a beautiful vintage Navajo sterling silver ring made by Navajo artist Alvin Joe, featuring a large rectangular black cabochon stone set in a handmade sawtooth bezel surrounded by twisted rope wire and hand-applied bead border.

This ring features a very substantial and well-constructed triple rail shank and thick backplate, making it a heavy and very solid men’s ring. The silverwork is entirely handmade and shows the classic Navajo construction style with individually soldered rails and a hand-finished shank.

The stone appears to be black onyx, although it could possibly be black jet. Exact stone identification can never be guaranteed, so it is being sold as black onyx / possibly jet for full transparency.

This is a very well-made vintage Navajo ring with excellent weight, construction, and presence on the hand.
