Up for sale is a beautiful, hand-signed hardcover copy of "A Perfect Union of Contrary Things," the authorized biography of Maynard James Keenan. This copy was obtained personally during Maynard’s highly-anticipated book tour stop in Chicago.

Obtained in-person at Thalia Hall in Chicago, IL, during the "An Evening With Maynard James Keenan" seminar and book reading.

Maynard signed this on the half-title page, positioned vertically near the spine—his signature style for this tour. The ink is bold, sharp, and high-contrast.

This book hasn’t been fully explored. Like new.

The dust jacket is crisp with vibrant colors and no major shelf wear.

Clean, white pages with a super tight binding. No markings, dog-ears, or damage.

I’ve kept this in a smoke-free, climate-controlled environment to preserve its archival value and being wrapped in bubble wrap.

This biography features a foreword by the legendary Alex Grey and traces Maynard's journey from the military and art school to founding Tool, A Perfect Circle, and Puscifer. Owning a copy from the Chicago stop adds a layer of authenticity and "cool factor" that random signed copies simply don't have.
