Etching after a drawing by Rubens in the British Museum, after Elsheimer. An early state with the guidelines for the text visible. Trimmed into the text below the image, with narrow margins on the other three sides. On laid paper with some paper residue in the upper right quadrant but otherwise in excellent condition. Collectors mark for Turn Lundh (Lugt 6063) on reverse.
Another impression of this print went unsold at Bassenge in 2023 with a low estimate of 1200 euros.
