Gibson Custom Shop Historic Collection 1959 LES Paul Standard Reissue LPR [AUTH]
A 2014 Historic Collection 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue is being offered at a special price due to a repair mark on the neck! He himself left Gibson in November 1994. Perhaps because of this, serial numbers from the first half of 1994 are highly sought after. This particular guitar appears to be from the 100-series production run of 1994, likely from the time when Tom Murphy was still at Gibson. While there are generally no visible modifications, unfortunately, there is a repair mark on the neck. A crack has been glued and repainted on the back of the headstock, from below the first tuning peg to the back of the nut. Otherwise, it is largely original, with 57 Classic pickups. While there are some signs of age, minor scratches, and paint fading on the hardware, it is generally in excellent condition. The frets have about 70% remaining, with some slight wear in the lower positions, but playability is good at present.
Weighing only 4.02kg, it's lightweight, well-balanced, and boasts outstanding looks and sound, making it a highly recommended instrument for players! Weight: 4.02kg Gibson brown case included
