A massive, 25-pound authentic vintage Canadian Inuit soapstone carving by listed Inukjuak artist Paulosie Weetaluktuk (1938–2012). This monumental piece depicts a kneeling hunter with a seal, carved in the classic, heavy-volumed style characteristic of the mid-century Port Harrison school. The base is incised with the artist's syllabics and disc number (1760).
