Up for auction is this spectacular hand painted and enameled lidded Nippon Moriage biscuit jar.   The beautifully crafted piece, from Japan, features a floral design throughout and raised/textured Moriage enameling.  Measures about 8 1/4 inches in width, handle to handle, and 4 1/2 inches tall.  This is unmarked Nippon, dating back to the mid to late 19th century, before 1891. Handmade with intricate details, this Japanese collectible showcases a unique design and cultural influences that defines Nippon Moriage pieces.   In nice condition with just some minor wear to enameling (this is extremely minor and only mentioned for complete accuracy!).  NO RESERVE!!
