Here up for grabs is a fabulous small cabinet specimen from one of the finest localities for azurite in the Butte district.  This specimen was part of a small lot of azurite and malachite specimens that came out of an old collection.  These were collected back pre 1970s before the Bullwhacker mine was consumed by the Anaconda Pit.  I'm not sure when this occurred but this was many many years ago.
The specimen is covered in small azurite crystals as well as many small veinlets of azurite criss-crossing the matrix.  The matrix consists of Malachite, Limonite, Chamosite and Chrysocolla.  Very colorful specimen!
