Conn 52H Artist Trombone

This is a Corn F-tube trombone, model 52H.

There are several small dents, but they do not affect playability.

When people think of Corn, they often picture the 8H or 88H models, and this 52H is frequently viewed as a budget version. However, with its dual-bore slide and a bell slightly larger than the 88H’s, it is a fundamentally different instrument in concept.

I’ve used it for practice a few times, and it produces a volume that rivals larger-bore instruments. It’s also easy to control, and the legato transitions are very smooth.
