HOn3 KIT D&RGW Combine 212(and others) Passenger/Baggage Car laser wood MRGS kit#3212. Photo of completed kit is example assembled by the late Jim Vail.

This kit builds one of the longer (36 ft) Combine Baggage/Passenger cars on the D&RGW. Correct for #212 after the removal of the cupola as used on the Pagosa Springs Branch and in this configuration until re-converted to a coach by the Durango & Silverton RR. Originally #215 before renumbering in 1941, it was built as a coach (#20) by Billmeyer & Small in 1879 and rebuilt into combine #215 in 1889.  See R. Built up model(s) are shown for reference, you are bidding on a KIT for this car, see additional photographs. Kit # MRGS 3212, new in original factory packaging.  Highly rated by reviewers and modelers, this is the first time a kit for this car has been offered in HO scale, your other choice would be brass. The laser cut wood and resin roof takes out the hard work. There are complete instructions included, but no diaphragms, trucks, decals, couplers, paint or glue. Painted, detailed photos are of a model built by the late Jim Vail and from our collection and not for sale; however, see Jim's review in the NARROW GAUGE GAZETTE for more information. As we have more time to devote to kit development, the Pagosa Junction variation of this car will be available.  Trucks are available (PN 5002A) for $ 11.55 a pair (see last photos), add them to your order.  Not a quickie kit, craftsman quality, but easy and simple to assemble by the average kit builder.

NOTE: Interested modelers; these kits (laser cut, RPO and Combine and others) are produced in very small lots (quantity is limited) sometimes only one (1 at a time), mostly as a result of limited material availability. Costs are skyrocketing. Therefore if you are watching availability and are considering a purchase I encourage taking advantage when one (1) is listed as there may not be another very soon. On Buy It Now items,  if you are purchasing more than 1 item, add items to your cart that you want to purchase and then check out. This will allow you to pay for all of your items in one transaction and combine shipping.  In general, if you purchase more than one item please add to your shopping cart and request an invoice BEFORE paying, this way shipping can be combined.

If items are paid separately you will be charged shipping for each item and no refund given for shipping.  This has been forced upon us as eBay charges seller fees of 10% on shipping per item and they will not refund fees once payment is received.
