Rare H.L.Leonard 9ft #6 2pc Graphtec Fly Rod Fishing Vintage

Description

Condition: Used

This is a 9-foot Graph Tech fly rod manufactured in the 1970s-80s by the prestigious rod manufacturer HL Leonard. It's designed for 3oz #6 line. It features a distinctive gray blank with red wrapping thread, and, as expected from a renowned bamboo rod manufacturer, boasts a supple casting feel and is remarkably lightweight. While the cork grip has darkened from actual fishing use, the blank and guides are virtually flawless. This rod is extremely rare, as it's almost impossible to find in circulation both domestically and internationally. Although marked as a #6 line, I personally found a #5 line to be more appropriate, and used it with that. ↓ As it's a vintage item, it comes with a cloth bag and hard case (though not original). While in excellent condition, it is a used item, so please only purchase if you understand this. Due to its rarity, please refrain from requesting price reductions. Also, to prevent fraudulent returns, this is a no-return, no-refund item. - Model Name: HL Leonard - Length: 9 feet - Line Weight: #6 line - Material: Cork Grip - Color: Gray
