WW2 Paratrooper Canteen Extension Strap

Condition: Excellent, with no rips, tears, or frays. All of the hardware works fine, with no rust. 

The extension strap would have been attached to the back of a canteen cover to allow it to be clipped to a web belt, which would reduce the chance of the canteen falling off the belt during a jump! It measures 3 1/4" x 8"-12", and the khaki color indicates early war manufacture. These extension straps are difficult to find, especially in this condition, so don't miss out on this one!!
