Striking geometric mirror designed by Rogelio Polesello for Morphos – Acerbis in the 1970s. This Italian screen-printed mirror is a highly recognizable example of Polesello’s visual language, where reflection, optical effects, and geometric abstraction merge into a single decorative object.
The composition is built around the intersection of a square and a circle, overlaid in a bold yet balanced arrangement. The mirrored surface is enriched by silkscreen decoration in vibrant gradient tones, moving from yellow and green to blue, red, and magenta. These luminous color transitions soften the rigor of the geometry and create a dynamic, almost kinetic effect, typical of Polesello’s poetic approach to form and perception.
The contrast between the precise black outer frame, the central reflective area, and the chromatic shapes gives the piece both artistic presence and architectural clarity.
