Large Art Deco patinated terracotta, bronzed Black Panther sculpture

I could never grow tired of looking at this.

Impressive scale at 16" wide, superb poise, movement, and atmosphere, it should be a pleasure for lovers of nature, big cats, or Art Deco equally.

The sculpture has an indistinct signature, which will have to be left to someone other than me to identify if needed.

Terracotta finished as patinated bronze.

1920s - 30s.

In photo 8, you can see two small green spots 4 - 5mm wide. These conceal minor chips and are barely noticeable without close inspection. The actual cat is in excellent condition. Some areas have clearly been touched and, dare I say, stroked over the years, which you, when you own him / her for yourself, will understand as it is hard to resist.
