Vintage Silvertone 245 (Type 45) Vacuum Tube – Large Globe Style

Genuine early Silvertone-branded Type 245 / 45 triode vacuum tube, commonly used in 1930s radios and highly sought after today for vintage audio amplifiers.

This is the desirable large ST/globe-style envelope with classic engraved base lettering.

🔍 Condition:

• Untested (no tube tester available)

• Filament appears intact (see photos)

• No visible cracks or chips in glass

• Getter appears good (no white haze indicating air leak)

• Pins show normal oxidation from age

• Base is solid with no separation
