Beautiful framed, hand-painted Japanese folding fan, also known as a sensu. These fans have a rich history in Japan, dating back to the 7th century.
Material and Craftsmanship:
The fan is made of thin paper mounted on bamboo slats connected by a hinge, allowing it to fold and unfold easily. It is hand-painted with a scene depicting Mount Fuji, cherry blossoms, and traditional architecture
