Nippit Owl means well. Really, he does. But with oversized eyes and an unfortunately undersized sense of depth perception, he’s forever bumping into things – doors, bookshelves, sometimes Bartholomew Bear (who always takes it in good humour).

He’s officially studying nocturnal navigation, though so far it’s involved more stubbed toes than successful landings. (“It’s all data,” he insists, nursing another bumped wing.)

Clumsy? Perhaps. A brilliant friend? Absolutely!
