Marantz Model 7 Reissue Stereo Tube Preamplifier 12AX7 Excellent Working w/AC

About This Item

The Marantz Model 7 is a stereo vacuum tube preamplifier originally introduced in 1958 and widely regarded as one of the finest preamplifiers ever built. This is the reissue version, faithfully reproducing the original design. The phono stage employs the three-stage "Marantz Circuit" — a zero-feedback design using three ECC83/12AX7 tubes per channel — delivering 64.5dB of phono gain. A three-position phono equalization selector covers RIAA, Columbia, and 78 curves, enabling accurate reproduction of virtually all vinyl formats from the 1950s to the present. The line stage provides 22.5dB of gain. The unit features two phono inputs, dual independent bass and treble controls per channel, high-pass and low-pass filters, and a tape monitor switch.
