At Kaoko, they design innovative motorcycle cruise controls & throttle stabilizers with proven durability. Kaoko was established in 2001 after the owner, Roy Mentis, developed a long-range fuel tank for an adventure trip through the Kaokoveld in Namibia. The Kaokoveld, being one of the last remaining true wildernesses on earth, was the inspiration for the company’s name. The Kaoko fuel tank was a great success, enabling Roy’s passion for long distance motorcycling, however he encountered a more serious challenge on his adventure: overcoming an extremely tired wrist. This led to his design of Kaoko’s first cruise control in 2001.
Description
Kaoko Throttle Stabilizer kits are an essential product for every rider. The kit consists of a simple; ingenious and robustly designed friction nut that is integral with a special Kaoko handle bar end weight. The Kaoko bar end weight is closely matched in appearance and weight to the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) end weight. It is operated by gripping the throttle stabilizer between your small finger and the palm of your hand and rotating as you normally would. To disengage the throttle stabilizer; whilst rolling off the throttle; grip the throttle stabilizer between your small finger and palm of your hand. The main features of the Kaoko Throttle Stabilizers are ;- Greatly reduces rider fatigue and strain on hand and wrist. Whilst cruising; rider is able to remove hand from throttle grip; throttle opening will remain as set. Very simple to operate; even with heavy winter gloves. High quality; compact and durable design; super smooth action. Less wear and tear on throttle cables and linkages. Can result in reduced fuel consumption. Very little maintenance is required. Takes less than 5 minutes to fit. Faulty on Arrival?
If your items were faulty on arrival, we ask that you inform us as soon as reasonably possible. Items should be returned in their original packaging when possible with a copy of original documentation. Once we have verified the fault, we will issue a replacement or refund to you via your original payment method.
What if you change your mind?
If you have simply changed your mind about any item ordered and you wish to return it, then you can do so provided you inform us of your decision within 30 days of receipt. All you will be responsible for is the cost of the return postage. The item should be unworn, undamaged and must be 'as new' when returned to us. We will issue an exchange or refund to you via your original payment method.
Damaged in Transit?
If any items were damaged in transit, with proof, we ask that you report it to us within 7 working days. On their return they can be replaced or a refund can be issued via your original payment method.
Items Faulty in Warranty Period
If any of your purchases develop a fault within its warranty period it will need to be returned. Once the fault has been verified, a repair or exchange of goods will be issued.
Good to know
Returns can take approximately five business days to process upon receipt of the item/s. We are not responsible for the loss or damage of item/s during their return. When returning the item/s, the buyer is responsible for any shipping costs.

Any product which has been test fitted is considered used and cannot be returned for a full refund.
Any electronic item which has been removed from the original packaging or has the manufacturer seal broken is non-returnable.
Any liquid or aerosol that has been used, opened or has the seal broken is non-returnable.
