About the Artist:   Michael Simone Regnier is an artist based in Taos, New Mexico. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, she moved to Taos after her Peace Corps service in Togo, West Africa. She graduated from Mercyhurst College with a Bachelor of Arts in Art Therapy. In Taos, she has been involved in various artistic communities and events. She participated in the Arte de Descartes Recycled Art Show and is part of the Runway Vigilantes fashion design group. Her work often includes recycled materials and she focuses on creating pieces that are both beautiful and thought-provoking. She attributes her artistic development to the influence of her aunt, Linda Spier, and the unique environment of Taos.
