International Time Recording Co. Endicott NY Vintage Metal Wall Clock  For Parts

I don't know anything about clocks. I don't know what's going on with all the wiring in the back. 
Appears to be quite a bit more than others I've seen.
When plugged in there's a small silver colored piece (the one that looks a little like a wingnut) that does rotate in the back but the arms on the clock don't move. 

The small black cylinder seen in the photos is loose and just hangs by wires but everything will be packed securely for shipment.

Some rust & paint loss around the metal body.
Pieces were cut from the top & bottom to make space for the cord which left some pretty sharp edges. (See photos)
