【Product Description】 Cassette Playback: A/B side playback OK, FF/REW & DPSS (track cueing) working OK, auto reverse working OK, no cassette sticking or jamming during insertion/removal.

CD Playback: CD loading within 3 seconds, no skipping (by tapping and shaking the unit), no CD sticking or jamming during insertion/removal.

Radio Playback: Good reception.

Dark Light Condition: No illumination malfunctions, VFD brightness is very high and appears almost unchanged. The photos were taken with reduced VFD brightness and camera brightness.

There is a small amount of dust inside the LCD display that is difficult to see in photos (the dust visible in the photos is on the surface). The LCD panel surface is in fairly good condition with only minor polishing scratches and minor scratches that are not visible in photos.

There is a scratch near the upper right of the R705i cassette slot (near the pen tip), and paint peeling on the "Cassette EJECT" button near the masking tape arrow.

There is a scratch near the lower left corner of the R705i face (near the pen tip). There is a scratch-like mark (not noticeable with a fingernail) below the "DOWN" button, and paint peeling near the masking tape arrow.

The R705i's right side faceplate has paint scuffing/discoloration near the masking tape arrow. The D705i has paint peeling and paint scuffing below it near the upper right corner (pen tip).

There is no damage such as cuts to the wiring or connectors on the rear of the chassis that would render them unusable.

RCA output: Rear

The only included accessory is the power cable for the master unit; the necessary wiring for connecting to the slave unit is already installed in the unit itself.

Connection is easy; simply connect the two DIN cables of different shapes.

This is the situation as seen in the photos.

There may be some details I haven't fully described, but to my visual inspection, it's not in terrible condition and is perfectly usable for normal purposes, but it's certainly not in pristine condition. It's not suitable for collections, so I hope you'll use it for practical purposes.

Although not visible in the photos, there are some stubborn stains and some rust (not severe corrosion, but a smooth texture similar to the painted surface) on the chassis. However, these are in areas that will not be visible once installed, so I have omitted them from the description.

In the photos, there is a ghosting effect on the VFD, but this is noise from the photography process and the display is actually clear. The brightness is quite high; even under fluorescent lighting, it appears as a flash in the camera's image. Considering its age, the VFD is in remarkably good condition.

There is some blurring of the LCD display due to focus misalignment, which is a characteristic of dual-layer VFDs, but this is not a defect in the LCD panel itself, so please rest assured.

Before listing, some electronic components on the circuit board were replaced, the CD mechanism's pickup was cleaned, and the cassette mechanism was cleaned, greased, and the capstan belt replaced.

This is a model from approximately 30 years ago, so there may be other issues from continued use. Please only bid if you understand and accept this.
