The speaker cone got torn while being stored unprotected on a shelf. The owner decided to use gorilla glue to repair it, not knowing gorilla glue foams up and expands as it dries. At the very least it will need the cone replaced. I hooked it up to my amp and it played fine, so I think the voice coil is fine (no guarantee) but the glue around the surround left the cone almost immobilized. I tried to remove the glue with a heat gun, but it was pretty hopeless.

I figure someone out there can repair it.
