The Robot is clockwork and comes with a key. The Robot moves forward in a rocking from side to side walking motion. The legs and arms do not actually move. The movement comes from a lever in each foot. It works better on carpet rather than a smooth slippery surface where the levers find it harder to grip.  

On the back is a Tobar Harleston pointing out 'This is not a child's plaything. It does not comply with toy safety laws, and is for adult collectors only.' (see photograph).
