Transformers test good, and a signal can be heard after a slow warmup on my variac.  I replaced the 6BW4 rectifier.  My tube tester won't test the 6973 outputs but I expect they are weak.  Will most likely need new caps in the near future. 

6973 output tubes can be purchased in short or tall versions.  Someone installed the taller ones and clipped the cage because they are too tall.
