There is not much to ad but to say this is a fantastic car. I discovered it when I was asked to go and sort out the electrics which I have done and a lot more to boot  (there is a lifetime guarantee on the electrics(excluding wear and tear parts) which usually does not carry over with a change of ownership but if distance allows I will make an exception in this case as I do not want unskilled hands playing with my wires)  

While working on this car I also became close friends with the owner and his wonderful wife. Sadly he has since passed away which is why the car is up for sale as this was his hobby not hers. 

The 2 of us put an enormous amount of time and effort into this car with it at some point becoming more a labour of love then a commercial transaction and  I am not going to lie I am not happy about selling this car, in fact typing this I am still thinking of ways to raise the money to buy it myself because you see  over the months I fell in love with this car  but it was not the only car he owned and it was not the only car I spent a lot of time with, it was not the only car I fell in love with so having taken ownership of his 74 Silver Shadow  I simply could not offer his wife what the Austin was worth, being the person she it she wanted to accept the amount I had raised but I refused to buy the car until we had explored all options for selling it for closer to what it is worth so you better have a higher bank balance then mine because it would be a travesty if I got to steal this car from her because you people do not know what it is worth..
