Up for your consideration is this vintage Bruel & Kjaer model 169 recording sound meter.

It appears it spent it's former life at a Chevrolet Plant, Spring & Bumper Division.

This model comes complete with a printer and cartridge, microphone with a Type 4117 cartridge and a model 4230 sound level calibrator.

The printer has a tape cartridge and appears to be unplugged on the inside, may have been intentional or just come loose. I'll leave that to the new owner.

The unit powers up (lights on) and it does go through a calibration sequence. The needle on the meter did move, but does not register on the meter when speaking into the microphone. There are ten (code) buttons on the front panel, there may be some sequence to push the buttons to activate the metering, I'm not sure.

Overall a fairly rare item in good condition that appears to be complete, just needs some tweeking to get it to work. There are no implied guarantees that it will work. The meter weighs 17 pounds.
