A small photograph album etc. of the VANE DE LAUTOUR family who immgrarated to the UK from Canada in 1917.
Two parents and four children. 

Robert Edward "Bobby" Vane De Lautour was two months old at the time.
He later became a Captain No 149121 in the 22nd Independent Parachute Company AAC - The Pathfinders, Airborne.
Formerly Grenadier Guards.

Robert was Killed in Action 20th June 1944 in Normandy, France and is buried in Ranville War Cemetery. 

There's a original photograph taken in 1921 of Robert as a four year 10 months old child, in Feltham, Middlesex.
These details are written ink on the rear. Robert appears in other photographs within the album. 

There's photo of an older man sitting, but unnamed, possibly the father ?

The album contains 12 pages, eleven photographs of the family house, members and cars.

The father, Percival was also a soldier, he is uniform in the photographs. He was born 1881 in Australia, a civil Engineer,
Served with the 31st Regt B.C. Horse, 1899-1901 served with the Imperial Yeomanry (Devons) in South Africa.
